Ricardo Teixeira ha subito una penalità di 30 secondi sul tempo di Gara 1 per aver causato una collisione con Sergio Canamasas al giro 29 in regime di bandiere gialle, che venivano mostrate per l'altro contatto avvenuto tra i compagni di squadra Victor Guerin e Migel Melker (Ocean).

Il pilota angolano della Rapax aveva chiuso la corsa al 18esimo posto.
